I’ve been privileged to fish from up and down the coast of California to the east coast of Florida, from Alaska’s lakes, creeks and rivers to the off shore oil rig platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, from the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico to the Puget Sound in Washington state and from the mighty Mississippi to the Snake River Canyon. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying years of wonderful fishing adventures. Here I share my experience with you. Thank you for visiting.
Settling in Houston, Texas and being a stay at home Dad allows me the opportunity to pursue some of the largest variety of fresh and salt water fishing available. When it comes to fishing this neck of the woods all you need to do is decide what type of fishing you want to do, gear up and get to it. We have several rivers many bayous and miles of fresh and salt water all within an hours drive. Do you like catfish, redfish, white bass, striper, large mouth bass, crappie, flounder, snapper, tarpon, king fish or blue gill? There are hundreds of miles of coast line to explore just in the Galveston area alone and at least four large freshwater lakes as well. So many fish, so little time!
I use the products I review and enjoying sharing my experience with others.

Great information on the Mailibu Mini Kayak! I’ve been considering a fishing kayak for several months now. You may have saved me a lot of shopping and comparison time. It sounds perfect.
Thanks!
You are welcome and thank you for taking the time to leave your comments.
You gotta fish for salmon and trout in Idaho! Can’t wait to hear your fish stories.
Fish on!! Nice blog.
Great site. I am liking the revies quit a bit. I am looking for the “best” Bass Boat Review…..LOL!
I am curious as to what kind of a camera you are using to post your pictures. They look great! Why don’t you write a review on the camera?
I would love to write some reviews on bass boats if I could only get them (Skeeter, Nitro, Ranger) to send me a few. It would be my pleasure!
The camera is a Canon PowerShot S1 IS. I like the camera but right now I prefer to write about fishing. Maybe some day I’ll submit a review for various hardware products.
Great blog! What’s your favorite fishing location in the Greater Houston/Galveston area?
Beautifully done. From the heart. Please continue.
I liked the daichi hooks, they held my flukes great this weekend! Kept good action and the fluke lasted longer too! Caught some good keepers with them, thanks!
